Part Time Work in Ireland

Ireland offers a tremendous opportunity for both DIFC students and graduates wishing to work in any of the Business/Management, Science /Health and Engineering/Technology sectors and is regarded as one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. Students who wish to work part-time to support their studies will find a vibrant economy with a healthy demand for part-time skilled English speaking workers.

The Irish Department of Education has recently approved DIFC students for part-time work in Ireland

From 2005,any international student wishing to work part-time while studying in Ireland must attend courses which have been approved by the Irish Department of Education.

DIFC is happy to announce that both it's IYF and PMP programmes have been approved by both sections within the Department which deal with this recognition. This means that DIFC students are legally entitled to work part-time in Ireland.

Non EU graduates now eligible for residence in Ireland after 4 years employment.

A new policy has been released by the Irish Government which will benefit especially Chinese students. Non EU students who have obtained a University degree (including bachelor, master and doctoral degree) in Ireland's universities will be able to obtain 2 more years student visa, during which period they are allowed to work in Ireland. After 4 years' working, students will be able to obtain long-term right of residence in Ireland.
